Jason Amy
Mr. Amy joined Gladstone in July 2006 as an Analyst. Prior
to joining Gladstone, he worked in the Investment Banking
Group at Friedman Billings Ramsey from August 2005 to June
2006. While at Friedman Billings Ramsey, Mr. Amy worked in
the Financial Institutions Group assisting senior bankers
with public offerings, private placements and M&A transactions.
Mr. Amy holds a B.S. in Economics and Finance from Kansas
State University.

Michael Beckett
Mike joined Gladstone in March 2005 as an Associate. Prior
to joining Gladstone, he was an analyst for MCG Capital from
June 2001 to March 2005. Mr. Beckett earned a Master of Business
Administration degree from the Georgetown University's McDonough
School of Business in 2001 and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting
from Syracuse University in 1993. Mr. Beckett is a Certified
Public Accountant and a member of the AICPA and of the Massachusetts
Society of CPAs.

Greg Bowie
Mr. Bowie joined Gladstone in October 2004 as an Associate.
Prior to joining Gladstone, he was an Associate in Citigroup's
Global Corporate and Investment Bank in New York from August
2003 to September 2004. Prior to Citigroup, he flew the S-3B
Viking aircraft for the U.S. Navy as a Naval Flight Officer
from 1994-2001. Mr. Bowie has an MBA from Georgetown University's
McDonough School of Business and a BA in International Affairs
from George Washington University's Elliott School of International
Affairs.

Michael Brown
Michael Brown joined Gladstone Investment Corporation in
October 2005 as Managing Director and opened a Dallas office.
Mr. Brown has over 23 years of principal mezzanine and senior
equity investing and portfolio management experience to middle
market manufacturing, distribution and business service companies
located throughout the United States. Immediately prior to
joining Gladstone, Mr. Brown was Co-founder and Managing
Partner of Stratford Capital Partners, LP and Stratford Equity
Partners, LP, a Dallas-based $130 million mezzanine and senior
equity investment fund affiliated with Hicks, Muse, Tate & Furst
and other large institutional limited partners. Prior to
Stratford, Mr. Brown was a Partner with The Sunwestern Investment
Group, a Dallas-based private equity fund. Mr. Brown received
a Bachelors of Business Administration in Finance from the
University of Georgia and a Masters of Business Administration
from the University of Texas at Austin.

Mr. Brubaker has been Vice Chairman and Chief Operating
Officer since April 2004. Previously, he was our President
and Chief Operating Officer since May 2001. Beginning in
March 1999, Mr. Brubaker was a founder, and past Chairman
of Heads Up Systems, a company providing process industries
with leading edge technology. From 1996 to 1999, Mr. Brubaker
served as Vice President of the paper group for the American
Forest & Paper Association. From 1992 to 1995, Mr. Brubaker
served as President of Interstate Resources, a pulp and paper
company. From 1991 to 1992, Mr. Brubaker served as President
of IRI, a radiation measurement equipment manufacturer. From
1981 to 1991, Mr. Brubaker held several management positions
at James River Corporation, a forest and paper company, including
Vice President of Strategic Planning from 1981 to 1982, Group
Vice President of the Groveton Group and Premium Printing
Papers from 1982 to 1990 and Vice President of Human Resources
Development in 1991. From 1976 to 1981, Mr. Brubaker was
Strategic Planning Manager and Marketing Manager at Boise
Cascade. Previously, Mr. Brubaker was a Senior Engagement
Manager at McKinsey & Company from 1972 to 1976. Mr.
Brubaker holds a MBA degree from the Harvard Business School
and a BSE from Princeton University.

Mr. Bute has been a Managing Director or Principal since
June, 2001. Immediately prior to joining the Company, he
was a Principal and Vice President with American Capital
Strategies, Ltd., a publicly-traded leveraged buyout fund
and mezzanine debt finance company. He joined the firm in
1996 opening the Company's Pittsburgh office. Prior to that,
he was Director of Manufacturing Services for the Steel Valley
Authority, a public agency that provided technical and public
financing services to distressed manufacturers. He held that
position from 1992 to 1996, working with small and middle
market manufacturers and coordinating public finance programs.
From 1989 to 1991, he was President and Chief Executive Officer
of the North Side Industrial Development Company, managing
commercial and industrial real estate projects in Pittsburgh
neighborhoods. He also managed a seed capital fund for early
stage companies under the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's
enterprise zone program. From 1973 to 1989, his career was
focused on senior management positions in community and social
service organizations in Chicago and Oakland, California.
He received his Bachelor's Degree from the University of
San Francisco in 1983 with an emphasis in public administration.

Michael M. Caspani
Mr. Caspani joined Gladstone in July 2008. Prior to joining Gladstone, he was an analyst in the Leveraged Finance group at Banc of America Securities where he focused on structuring, syndicating and executing loans for financial sponsors and corporate clients in the healthcare, technology, media and telecom sectors. Mr. Caspani earned his Bachelor of Science with Special Attainments in Commerce from Washington and Lee University in June 2006.

Kevin Cheetham
Mr. Cheetham joined our firm in September 2006 in the newly
created position as President of Gladstone Administration
to oversee the accounting, treasury, investor relations and
compliance functions of the Gladstone companies. From 1998
to 2006 Mr. Cheetham was EVP, CFO and Treasurer of SynXis
Corporation, a software company acquired in 2005 by Sabre
Holdings (TSG) NYSE. From 1994 to 1998, Mr. Cheetham held
various positions at TREEV, Inc. (formerly Network Imaging
Corporation), a NASDAQ listed software company, including
Vice President and Controller. From 1991 to 1994, Mr. Cheetham
held positions at Mobil Oil in the internal audit and treasury
departments. From 1986 to 1991, Mr. Cheetham began his career
at Arthur Andersen & Co. in the audit practice based
in New York . Mr. Cheetham has also served on the Board of
Innovectra Corporation and in June of 2005, was a finalist
for CFO of the Year for the Northern Virginia Technology
Council (NVTC), the Maryland Council and the DC Tech Council.
Mr. Cheetham is a CPA in the State of New Jersey and the
Common Wealth of Virginia and holds a BBA from the University
of Massachusetts ( Amherst ).

Bill Cooke
Mr. Cooke joined the firm in June 2007 as a Managing Director in the New York Office. Prior to joining Gladstone, he was a Managing Director of BHC Interim Funding II, L.P. where he sourced, structured, and executed mezzanine transactions for middle-market companies for six years. From 1997 to 2001, Mr. Cooke was a senior equity analyst covering the North American automotive industry for ABN AMRO Incorporated. From 1994 to 1997, he was an equity analyst covering the capital goods industry at McDonald & Company Securities, Inc. Prior to his work as a sell-side equity analyst, Mr. Cooke was a securities analyst covering fixed income and equity securities in a wide range of industries for Conseco Capital Management, Inc. From 1990 to 1993, he was a Corporate Account Officer for The Bank of Nova Scotia. Prior to business school, he was a Business Analyst and Divisional Operations Manager for The Dun & Bradstreet Corporation. Mr. Cooke received his BA degree from Michigan State University and MBA degree from the University of Michigan. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

Buzz Cooper
Mr. Cooper has been a Managing Director or Principal since
June 2001. From 1986 to 2000, Mr. Cooper served as a Senior
Vice President or Principal of Allied Capital Corporation
and its affiliate funds. At Allied Capital, Mr. Cooper was
responsible for identifying, sourcing, underwriting, managing,
financing and servicing all forms of commercial real estate.
During his time at Allied Capital, Mr. Cooper also administered
an investment portfolio of over $250 million. Mr. Cooper
holds a BA from Washington and Lee University.

Robert Corry
Mr. Corry has been a Managing Director or Principal
since November 2003. Mr. Corry was with CBA Mezzanine Capital
Finance, LLC, a commercial real estate mezzanine conduit
from 2001 to 2003. Initially, Mr. Corry held the position
of Senior Vice President of Credit and Risk Management. In
2003, he assumed the role of Senior Vice President of Marketing
and Loan Production. Prior to joining Mezz Cap, Mr. Corry
was a Principal at Allegiance Capital Partners, LLC where
he was Chief Credit Officer. From 1992 to 2000, Mr. Corry
was a Senior Vice President or Principal at Allied Capital
Corporation, and its affiliate funds. Post Allied’s
merger, Mr. Corry originated mezzanine transactions associated
with corporate mergers, acquisitions and leverage buyouts.
Prior to Allied, Mr. Corry held senior management and lending
positions at two commercial banks. Mr. Corry received his
B.S. degree in Business Administration in 1986 from the E.
Claiborne Robins School of Business at the University of
Richmond and his Masters Degree in Accounting from The American
University.

Mr. Dellafiora joined Gladstone in September 2007 as Chief Compliance Officer. Previously, Mr. Dellafiora held management roles in regulatory compliance, financial and operational risk management, financial reporting, and enterprise data management with Fannie Mae. Prior to that he lead attestation engagements for BDO Seidman where he worked on a diverse set of client industries. Mr. Dellafiora has also provided strategic and financial services for an alternative energy developer. Mr. Dellafiora is a CPA with a BBA in Accountancy from the University of Notre Dame and a MBA from the University of Maryland ’s Smith School of Business.

Catherine Devine
Miss Devine joined Gladstone in June, 2008. Prior to joining Gladstone, Miss Devine served as a senior accountant at Halt, Buzas & Powell, LTD. Miss Devine received his BS in Accounting from the George Mason University, and is a CPA candidate in the commonwealth of Virginia.

David Dullum
Mr. Dullum joined The Gladstone Companies in February 2008. He currently serves as President of Gladstone Investment and Senior Managing Director of the Adviser in our McLean, VA Headquarters focusing on debt & equity investments. Mr. Dullum has extensive experience in equity investing and middle market buyouts.
Prior to joining Gladstone , Mr. Dullum was a General Partner of a Chicago based Frontenac Company, from 1976 to 1990. He currently serves as a General Partner of New England Partners, a Boston based private equity fund. Mr. Dullum was also the President and Director of Harbor Acquisition Corp., a Special Purpose Acquisition Corporation listed on AMEX. Mr. Dullum is a former member of the Board of Governors and the Chairman of the National Association of Small Business Companies ( NASBIC ) and a Trustee of the Stanford Business School Trust. Mr. Dullum received a BME from the Georgia Institute of Technology and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Marshall Earl
Mr. Earl joined Gladstone in December 2005 as an Analyst.
Prior to joining Gladstone, he served as a telecommunications
engineer in WorldCom’s Internal Requirements group from December

Mr. Eick joined Gladstone in March of 2007. Previously he spent eight years with Heller Financial Inc.’s Media Business Division, initially leading a team of professionals responsible for over $500 million in media and communications loans and ultimately advancing into an originations role with responsibility for sourcing senior debt transactions. Mr. Eick also served as Vice President-Business Development Officer in the Communications Finance Division of FINOVA Capital Corporation where he originated, structured and closed in excess of $250 million in loans over a three year period. Mr. Eick served as Vice President with Columbia Capital, an Alexandria, VA based boutique investment banking firm. Mr. Eick also served Chief Financial Officer, board member and founding partner of Harvest Sporting Group from 1999 to 2001. Mr. Eick received his B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Iowa and holds a Masters in Management from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management.

Ben Emmons
Mr. Emmons joined The Gladstone Companies in April 2008 as Managing Director and opened an Atlanta office for the firm. Mr. Emmons’ focus is on originations and he has over 17 years of leveraged finance and principal equity investing in lower middle market companies located throughout the United States.
Prior to joining Gladstone, Mr. Emmons was an initial founder and Managing Director for Cratos Capital Partners, an Atlanta based specialty finance company focused on providing senior cash flow financing to the lower middle market. Prior to Cratos, Mr. Emmons was a Managing Director within the Corporate and Investment Bank division of SunTrust Bank. From 2002 to 2005, Mr. Emmons originated and closed new investments for Sun Capital Partners a Boca Raton-based private equity fund. From 1997 to 2002, Mr. Emmons was a Senior Vice President- Marketing Manager with CIT Business Credit for the Southeast Region. Mr. Freal joined the firm in February 2002 from American
Capital Strategies, where he was a Managing Director. From
1995 through 1997 he was a private investor and financial
consultant. From 1989 to 1995, Mr. Freal was President of
RDS Capital Partners, a private merchant banking company
that he co-founded to acquire middle-market commercial and
industrial companies. Prior to founding RDS, he was employed
by several Washington D.C. area and Philadelphia banks as
a Loan Officer providing general corporate and buyout financing
to middle-market and national companies. Mr. Freal received
both undergraduate and graduate degrees in Business from
George Mason University.

William Frisbie
Mr. Frisbie joined the firm as an Associate in June 2006.
Prior to joining Gladstone, he served as a Financial Analyst
in the Treasury Department at American Capital Strategies,
Ltd from 2000 to 2004. Mr. Frisbie received his BA from the
University of Virginia in 1999 and his MBA from the Darden
School of Business at the University of Virginia in 2006.

Gary Gerson
Mr. Gerson joined our firm in February 2006 as Treasurer.
From 2004 to early 2006 Mr. Gerson was Assistant Vice President
of Finance at the Bozzuto Group, a real estate developer,
manager and owner, where he was responsible for financing
over $350 million of multi-family and for-sale residential
projects. From 1995 to 2004 he held various finance positions,
including Director, Finance from 2000 to 2004, at PG&E National
Energy Group where he led, and assisted in, the financing
of over $3.5 billion in power generation assets. Prior to
PG&E, from 1993 to 1995 he was a business consultant at American
Management Systems. From 1986 to 1991 Mr. Gerson served on
submarines in the U.S. Navy. Mr. Gerson holds an MBA from
the Yale School of Management, a B.S. in mechanical engineering
from the U.S. Naval Academy, and is a CFA charter holder.

Blair Gertmenian
Mr. Gertmenian joined Gladstone in July 2005. Prior to joining Gladstone, Mr. Gertmenian worked as a financial analyst in J.P. Morgan’s Global Mergers & Acquisitions Group from 2003 to 2005, where he provided advisory services to both public and private companies. In 2002, he joined J.P. Morgan’s Middle Market Financial Sponsors Group. Mr. Gertmenian holds a BSBA with a concentration in finance from Georgetown University where he graduated Cum Laude. He is also a member of the Friends Committee for the Lymphoma Research Foundation.

Paul Giusti
Mr. Giusti has been a Managing Director since August of
2005. Prior to joining the Company he was a Partner and Senior
Vice President with PNC Equity Management Corp. With over
$1 billion of capital under management, PNC Equity is the
private equity affiliate of PNC Financial Services Group,
Inc. Mr. Giusti joined PNC Equity in 1987, starting-up that
firm's equity sponsor buyout practice. Paul's venture capital
career began in 1978 at Narragansett Capital Corporation,
the Nation's first publicly-traded SBIC and one of the country's
first investment firms specializing in management buyouts.
Prior to Narragansett, Mr. Giusti worked in the Internal
Controls Department of United Brands. Mr. Giusti has also
served on the Board of Advisors of Commonwealth Capital Group,
a regional buyout group focused on Pennsylvania-based businesses.
Mr. Giusti served in the United States Navy from 1969 to
1972. He received his B.A. in economics (1968) and an M.B.A.
cum laude (1976) from Boston University.

Mr. Gladstone is the founder of Gladstone Capital Corporation
and has been our Chief Executive Officer since inception.
From August 1997 to August 2001, Mr. Gladstone served as
Chairman or Vice Chairman of American Capital Strategies,
a publicly-traded leveraged buyout fund and mezzanine debt
finance company. From 1974 to February 1997, Mr. Gladstone
held various positions, including Chairman and Chief Executive
Officer, with Allied Capital Corporation, Allied Capital
Corporation II, Allied Capital Lending Corporation, Allied
Capital Commercial Corporation and Allied Capital Advisors
Inc. The Allied companies were the largest group of publicly-traded
mezzanine debt funds and were managers of two private venture
capital limited partnerships. From 1992 to 1997, Mr. Gladstone
served as a Director, President and Chief Executive Officer
of Business Mortgage Investors, a private mortgage REIT managed
by Allied Capital. Mr. Gladstone served as a Director of
The Riggs National Corporation (the parent of Riggs Bank)
from 1993 to May 1997 and of Riggs Bank from 1991 to 1993.
He has served as a Trustee of The George Washington University
and currently is a Trustee Emeritus. He is a past member
of the Listings and Hearings Committee of the National Association
of Securities Dealers, Inc. He is a past member of the Advisory
Committee to the Women's Growth Capital Fund, a venture capital
firm that finances women-owned small businesses. Mr. Gladstone
was the managing member of The Capital Investors, a group
of angel investors, and is currently a member Emeritus. He
is also the Chairman and owner of Gladstone Land Corporation
a private land holding company in California. Mr. Gladstone
is also a past Director of Capital Automotive REIT, a real
estate investment trust. Mr. Gladstone holds a MBA degree
from the Harvard Business School, a MA from American University
and a BA from the University of Virginia. Mr. Gladstone has
co-authored two books on financing for small and medium sized
businesses, Venture Capital Handbook and Venture Capital
Investing published by Prentice Hall.

Laura Gladstone
Ms. Gladstone has been a Managing Director or Principal
since August 2001. From 2000 to 2001, Ms. Gladstone worked
as an Associate in equity research at ING Barings, where
she was responsible for covering companies in the telecommunications
industries. From November 1999 to May 2000, Ms. Gladstone
worked for Salomon Smith Barney as an Assistant Analyst in
equity research. From 1997 to November 1999, Ms. Gladstone
worked for HSBC, an international bank, as their only Syndications
Analyst in Argentina. At HSBC, she completed numerous loan
transactions in diverse industries, including cable, telecommunications,
oil, manufacturing and distribution. From 1994 to 1997, Ms.
Gladstone served as the Marketing Director at Allied Capital
Corporation and its affiliate companies. She received her
BBA from The George Washington University. She is the co-author
of two books on lending to small business: Venture Capital
Handbook and Venture Capital Investing both published by
Prentice Hall.

Gresford Gray
Mr. Gray has served as the Chief Financial Officer of Gladstone Capital Corporation since April 2008. From 2006 to 2008, Mr. Gray was the Director of Financial Reporting and Analysis at Alion Science and Technology, Inc. From 2002 to 2006 Mr. Gray was employed by The Allied Defense Group, Inc. where he held various positions, including Corporate Controller and Corporate Secretary. From 1998 to 2000, Mr. Gray was an internal auditor at ExxonMobil Corporation. From 1994 to 1998, Mr. Gray was an auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP based in Buffalo, New York. Mr. Gray is a Certified Public Accountant who holds a BS in Accounting from the State University of New York at Buffalo, as well as an MBA from the University of Virginia.

Erika Highland
Ms. Highland joined Gladstone as an Associate in August 2005.
Prior to joining Gladstone, she was an Account Executive
at Wells Fargo Retail Finance where she was responsible for
managing and monitoring a portfolio of senior secured loans
to national and regional retail chains. From July 2001 through
June 2003, she worked as a financial analyst in A.G. Edwards’ Investment
Banking Division. Ms. Highland holds a B.S. in Business Administration
with a concentration in Finance from Boston College.

Arnett James
Mr. James joined the firm as an Analyst in June 2007. Prior to joining Gladstone, he was a Junior Research Associate in Delaware Investments’ Private Placement group from 2006 to 2007. Mr. James received his B.S. in Finance from Rutgers University in 2006.

Matthew G. Jaramillo
Mr. Jaramillo joined Gladstone in August of 2008. Prior to joining Gladstone, he worked in New York as an Analyst within Deutsche Bank's Mergers & Acquisitions and Financial Institutions Groups. While he worked there he gained significant experience across various industries and across different investment banking products. Mr. Jaramillo earned a Bachelors of Science in Commerce with Concentrations in Finance and Marketing from the University of Virginia.

Ms. Keene has been our Portfolio Management Coordinator since
September 2002. Her background includes diverse experience
in business management and sales most recently with Xerox
Corporations and she co-founded and managed Virginia's 41st
winery. She holds a Master's Degree from George Washington
University.

Jason Kowalski
Mr. Kowalski joined Gladstone in August 2006 as an Associate.
Prior to joining Gladstone , he was a Manager in Capital
One’s Treasury Strategy group from August 2003 to July
2006. Prior to Capital One, he was an investment banking
Associate in the Consumer/Retail group at Banc of America
Securities from August 2001 to April 2003. From 1994 to 1998,
he was a Consultant with Price Waterhouse’s Management
Consulting Services group. Mr. Kowalski earned an MBA from
the UCLA Anderson School of Management and a BSE in Civil
Engineering and Operations Research from Princeton University
.

M. Kipp Kranbuhl
Prior to joining Gladstone, Mr. Kranbuhl worked for Petra Capital Partners providing private equity and debt capital to growth companies throughout the United States. While at Petra, he served as an associate responsible for initiating and negotiating new investments, and for monitoring Petra's outstanding debt and equity positions. Mr. Kranbuhl worked for Wheat First Union (now Wachovia Securities) as an analyst in the investment banking division, where he structured and completed equity, mergers and acquisitions and convertible debt offerings. Mr. Kranbuhl also served as a summer associate for the Overseas Private Investment Corporation where he worked in the project finance group providing debt capital for global expansion projects of United States-based corporations.
Mr. Kranbuhl earned a Bachelor of Arts from Duke University and received his Master of Business Administration from the University of Michigan Business School.

Kyle Largent
Kyle joined Gladstone in November 2006. Prior to joining Gladstone , he was a Vice President for National Capital, an investment bank providing M&A advisory services to small and mid-sized businesses. In 2003, Kyle served as an Associate Analyst in the Research group at Friedman Billings Ramsey. Kyle received a BSBA from the University of Tulsa , an MBA from Georgetown University , and is a CFA charterholder.

Chris Lee
Mr. Lee joined Gladstone as a Principal in January 2008. Prior to joining Gladstone , he was a Vice President with MCG Capital where he was a debt and equity investor in middle-market companies across industry platforms, with a focus on telecommunications and publishing and including origination/underwriting and Board advisory roles. Prior to his work at MCG Capital, Mr. Lee worked as a Consultant with KPMG Consulting (now BearingPoint) from 1993 to 1998 where he performed cost accounting studies for state and local government clients. Mr. Lee earned a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts from Georgetown University .

Lud Kimbrough
Mr. Kimbrough joined Gladstone in September 2008 and opened a Richmond office for the firm. With 30 years' experience in operations, management consulting, and M&A transactions, he concentrates on portfolio management. Prior to joining the firm he was a Managing Director of Windward Advisors, an investment banking firm and advisor to lower middle-market companies. Before Windward, Mr. Kimbrough spent eight years as a management consultant to process manufacturing companies as President of Heads Up Systems. He was President of Alliance Agronomics, an agriculture consulting and services firm, from 1996-1998. Prior to Alliance he was Vice President and Group Executive of the Consumer Specialties Division of James River Corporation, a paper manufacturer where he served in various capacities over 15 years, including responsibility for Corporate Development. He began his career in production at a family-owned manufacturing firm. He received his MBA from Virginia Commonwealth University and his BS from Tufts University.

Chris Massey
Mr. Massey has been a Managing Director since May 2004.
Prior to joining Gladstone, Mr. Massey was Vice President
of Asset Management with Kennedy Associates Real Estate Counsel,
a $6 billion pension fund advisor. Mr. Massey’s responsibilities
included asset management of approximately $450 million of
Class A office and industrial properties with over 200 tenants
located throughout the eastern half of the United States.
Formerly, Mr. Massey was President of a broadcast tower
acquisitions company focused in US and Latin America. Prior,
he was the Director of Business Development for two domestic & international
cellular tower & in-building network companies.
Previously, Mr. Massey held acquisitions and asset management
roles with other commercial real estate firms. Mr. Massey's
responsibilities included coordination and evaluation of
more than 40 nonperforming loan and REO portfolios, in addition
to underwriting several hundred debt and equity investments
valued at nearly $4 billion. Further, Mr. Massey was directly
responsible for a portfolio of nonperforming loans and REO
properties valued at approximately $100 million.
Mr. Massey began his career in consumer banking, where he
was responsible for daily operations at a 3,000-member credit
union. He received his undergraduate degree from Virginia
Polytechnic Institute and State University.

Mr. Meier joined Gladstone as a Managing Director in March 2007. Prior to joining Gladstone, Mr. Meier was a Vice President in Wells Fargo Foothill’s Specialty Finance division. At Wells Fargo Foothill, Mr. Meier was responsible for originating and underwriting senior loans in the media and telecommunications sector. Mr. Meier joined Wells Fargo Foothill in 2004, at which time Wells Fargo Foothill purchased a portion of Westburg Media Capital’s loan portfolio and hired most of the Westburg staff to target senior media loans of less than $10 million. From 1994-2000, Mr. Meier served as Vice President-Business Development Officer, in the Communications Finance Division at FINOVA Capital Corporation, where his primary responsibility was the origination of media loans of up to $250 million. From 1990-1994, he served as a Vice President in the Corporate Finance Group and the Media Business Division at Heller Financial Inc. In the Media Business Division, he had primary management responsibility for a diversified portfolio of senior loans. In addition, he was the Radio Team leader, which was responsible for managing Heller’s radio loan portfolio. Mr. Meier began his banking and lending career at Continental National Bank in 1986. He served in a variety of roles including middle market corporate lending and loan workouts. Mr. Meier holds a Master of Science in Finance from the University of Illinois , a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Western Illinois University , and attended Washington University in St. Louis .

Mr. Myers joined Gladstone in October 2008. Prior to joining the company he served as a Middle Market Credit Analyst at TD Bank where he participated in the underwriting, structuring, and portfolio management of loans to a wide range of businesses. He holds a BS in Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and Marketing from the University of Pittsburgh.

Paula Novara
Ms. Novara has been Head of Resource Management since April
2004. Ms. Novara served as Assistant Vice President of Human
Resources with the WMF Group and as a Consultant to Prudential
Financial. From 1996 to 1997, Ms. Novara worked for TREEV
a publicly held imaging software vendor. From 1992 to 1996,
Ms. Novara worked for Environmental Products Corporation
in their corporate Human Resources department. Ms. Novara
is certified through SHRM as a PHR, holds an MA from Marymount
University in Human Resources Management and a BA in Spanish
and French from St. Mary’s College of Notre Dame.

Malinda Ortega
Ms. Ortega joined Gladstone in March 2008. Prior to joining Gladstone, she was a Title Agent with Old American Title in Sterling, Virginia. While there, she conducted all real estate closing transactions and disbursements. Prior to Old American Title, she worked as a Paralegal in the areas of Family Law, Personal Injury, Insurance Defense, Foreclosure, Criminal, and Corporate Law at law firms located in Virginia to North Carolina. In 2001, Ms. Ortega earned her BS degree in Business Administration and Pre-Law with a Minor in Paralegal Studies from Methodist University in Fayetteville, North Carolina. She is a Certified Paralegal, Licensed Title Insurance Agent, and a Virginia Notary Public.

Lewis Parrish
Mr. Parrish joined Gladstone in August of 2008. His previous experience includes three years in public accounting, and three years abroad in Korea teaching English. He obtained a Bachelors' degree in Accounting from Virginia Tech, and he is a CPA in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Adam Perlish
Mr. Perlish joined Gladstone in June, 2007. Prior to joining Gladstone, Mr. Perlish served as a senior accountant at Schwartz, Weissman, and Co., P.C. Mr. Perlish received his B.Accy from the George Washington University, and is a CPA in the commonwealth of Virginia.

Mark Perrigo
Mr. Perrigo joined our firm in February 2008 and was appointed to serve as the Chief Financial Officer over Gladstone Investment Corporation. From May 2006 to January 2008, Mr. Perrigo served as Vice President of Finance for Simplicity, Inc. (formerly In Phonic, Inc.). Prior to that, Mr. Perrigo held various positions, including that of Audit Senior Manager, with Ernst & Young, LLP from January 1999 to April 2006. Mr. Perrigo is CPA in the State of Maryland and received a B.S. degree in accounting from George Mason University .

Robert Pierce
Mr. Pierce joined our firm in May 2004 from GE Commercial
Finance where he was a Senior Vice President in the Global
Sponsor Finance Group. While at GE, Mr. Pierce helped oversee
a team of professionals that was responsible for sourcing
senior debt opportunities from private equity sponsors in
the Midwest. The team's portfolio consisted of approximately
75 accounts aggregating nearly $1.5 billion in commitments,
and the team managed all aspects of the accounts, from the
original underwriting through documentation and closing,
and ongoing account management and administration, including
the execution of workout strategies when necessary. From
1996 to 2000, Mr. Pierce was Vice President with Heller Financial
in Chicago, originating and underwriting transactions from
private equity firms in the Midwest and on the West Coast.
From 1985 through 1996, Mr. Pierce was with Bank of America
in Chicago, and its predecessor, Continental Bank, in a variety
of roles, including loan workouts, asset based lending, and
leveraged finance. Mr. Pierce received his undergraduate
degree from Marquette University in Milwaukee, and an MBA
in Finance from the University of Wisconsin at Madison.

Virginia Rollins
Ms. Rollins has been a Managing Director or Principal since
June 2001. 1998 to 2001, Ms. Rollins served as Vice President
and Principal of American Capital Strategies where she was
responsible for marketing, originations, underwriting and
portfolio management for the Bethesda, Maryland office. From
1993 to 1997, Ms. Rollins served as Managing Director and
Deputy Managing Director of Bulgarian American Enterprise
Fund, a private investment firm which focuses on making loans
to and investments in Bulgaria. Ms. Rollins holds a Masters
of International Management with Honors from the American
Graduate School of International Management and graduated
Phi Beta Kappa with a BA from the University of North Carolina,
Chapel Hill.

John Sateri
Mr. Sateri joined the firm as a Managing Director in April 2007. Prior to joining Gladstone , Mr. Sateri directed an independent consultancy providing distressed debt valuation, CMBS securitization and loans sale advisory services to institutional investors, national advisory firms and government clients. From 1989 to 1998, Mr. Sateri worked for Wachovia Bank (predecessor/affiliated companies) in a variety of areas including corporate development, operations, credit risk management, special assets, commercial lending, and lastly capital markets where he served as Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manger overseeing a team responsible for underwriting, servicing and managing an asset based loan portfolio with half a billion dollars in commitments to highly leveraged, growth oriented, middle market companies. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from The University of Hawaii at Manoa and is a member of the Risk Management Association.
