Investment Strategy

Our investment strategy is to create companies that generate income in order to pay distributions to investors in the form of dividends. We are a yield-oriented management team and we seek out investments that will pay our investors income.

Presently, we have three publicly-traded entities. The first company is Gladstone Capital Corporation (Nasdaq: GLAD). Gladstone Capital pays monthly dividends and invests in small and medium sized private business. Gladstone Capital primarily makes three type of loans: senior term loans, senior subordinated loans and junior subordinated loans. The interest from these loans is used to pay monthly dividends to shareholders..

Our second company is Gladstone Commerical Corporation (Nasdaq: GOOD). Gladstone Commercial pays monthly dividends and is a real estate investment trust (REIT) that owns net leased industrial and commercial real estate property. The rent payments that Gladstone Commercial receives is used to pay monthly dividends to shareholders.

The third company is Gladstone Investment Corporation (Nasdaq: GAIN). Gladstone Investment pays monthly dividends and seeks to achieve returns from current and capital gains through debt and equity investments that we make in connection with buyouts and recapitalizations of small and mid-sized companies. The income from these investments is used to pay monthly dividends to shareholders.
